Michael is a strategic leader with over 30 years of Executive Management roles with a proven proficiency in corporate financial and operational management. After many years in private industry, managing operations for businesses in the Channel Incentive and Trade Marketing Programs industry, where Michael was responsible for financial, operational, budget management, and consultation for fortune 1000 clients whose marketing funds exceeded $250M, Michael decided to leave corporate America. In 2015, Michael joined the leadership team at the University of Texas’s Division of Housing and Food Service’s (DHFS) as their Director of Business Services. DHFS is a self-funded auxiliary division (no state or university funding) with a 90M+ operating budget, 14 buildings, 7,300 beds, and 14 food and retail locations. Michael’s portfolio of operating units included Financial Services; Occupancy Management; Marketing; Information Technology; Conferences and Events; and Administrative Services. In 2017, Michael’s entrepreneurial spirit guided him to starting his own company, Precision Bookkeeping, LLC.
